DuraReef (patent pending) can advantageously reverse the ill effects that occur when natural habitat is replaced with structures such as seawalls, docks, wharfs and buildings built on waterfront property. By nature of its form, the DuraReef artifact refurbishes impacted habitat and helps return these types of structures and the living surroundings to a more balanced ecosystem. In so doing, the reef artifact benefits the manmade structure as well as the marine environment.
